2022 FALL GUIDELINES IMPORTANT REMINDERS
DIVISIONS:
Spring 2022 is open to all children born between 1/1/2006-12/31/2017. AYSO Kona currently has 5 divisions each age specific and are as follows:
- 6U - Children born between 1/1/16-12/31/17
- 8U - Children born between 1/1/14-12/31/15
- 10U - Children born between 1/1/12-12/31/13
- 12U - Children born between 1/1/10-12/31/11
- 14/16U - Children born between 1/1/06-12/31/09
GAME DAY:
Field Set Up & Take Down:
- Both teams of the first game of the day, should kokua in setting up the nets and corner flags.
- Both teams of the last game of the day, should kokua in breaking down the nets and corner flags.
Rain Outs:
Games will be played “rain or shine”. Hosting regions, specifically the RC is responsible for determining if games in their region will be called off due to inclement weather.
- If games are to be postponed the season coordinator is to be notified two (2) hours before the first game.
- Coaches will be notified via email & text of the postponed games.
Forfeits:
- If you need to forfeit, you are to notify the coaches and referees of the teams impacted.
- Notification is to be made 24 hrs before the start of the game.
Game time & field switches are NOT ALLOWED without approval from the division coordinator and referee administrator (10U+).
